I'm a Junior at University Prep in Seattle, WA. and I've played soccer and basketball for as long as I can remember. I love to go to museums, on hikes, listen to music, and foster bulldogs with my family!

 

I've always been really passionate about animals and the environment. Fostering rescue dogs, having a dog of my own, and growing up in a pocket of dense forests has led me to be more conscious about how I treat my relationship to nature and its inhabitants. I try to live a conscious lifestyle in terms of plastic waste and eating organic and think that living sustainably is one of the biggest responsibilities we have as humans!

 

In going to the Island School, I hope to:
- Have a better relationship with the environment

- Step out of my comfort zone

- Meet new people and make lasting friendships

- Detox from social media and the internet
